This is a copy of cigally a windows version of SSH. This version _should_ work on a windows 3 system, but has not been extensively tested. execute ssh16.exe from windows to run the program. You will also need crypt.dll vtxxx.dll Or, if you have odbc drives installed (probably care of MS Office) then you can rename cryptB.ork to crypt.dll and use that in place of the one provided as default. Please see http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~ci2/ssh/ For more information NOTE: More details that have come to light. ANY ADVICE GIVEN IS WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND AND YOUR OWN RISK! You will need commctrl.dll which comes with windows 3.11, but not with Win3.1. You may have this dll anyway, but if you don't then as a work around you can install an HP printer driver which will come with this file. We cannot distribute this file with the CD for copyright reasons however a websearch should find it quickly enough, especially one on www.hp.com N.B You may want to only install commctrl.dll rather than the whole printer driver Also it seems that there is a 'feature' with this program such that it puts its configuration files in its own directory, but truncates the path by one character. If you install it in a path called ....\ssh then creating a directory ....\ss should get it to start behaving more correctly. As ever we cannot take any responsability for this behaviour Please report any other problems to unix-support@ucs.cam.ac.uk
